Like A Postcard

BJ here - I am traveling with L in Colorado to visit my sister. The scenery has been incredible, and I thought it would be a good opportunity to try some blogging. We have had a great time - we go home tomorrow. We have visited old friends of mine from Fripp Island, traveled to Deb's house, soaked in the hot springs, skied at Telluride, and cross-country skied at a local park that has groomed trails. Unfortunately L got sick today, or we might be skiing Telluride again. So that is what is giving me some time to reflect in the blog. It has been really nice to spend an extended period with L alone. No big deep talks or anything, but just a way to unhurriedly be together. Normally if we have time alone, it is a couple of hours or so. This is definitely valuable time - I am going to try to do it with all the kids. Oh, and we also went by EarthRoamer, which was great. Very exciting to think about driving around in one of those, both for business and personal use. Now we just need to figure out how to fund it! I was going to try to put a picture in here, but can't figure out how to do it in ScribeFire. Perhaps Blogger will be more cooperative.
